Anyone Have Experience with a Hammerli AP20 Pro?

Am tempted to get one with my next US stimulus waste of taxpayer's dollars. Figure about $1K for the pistol + $300 for an air tank. Have gotten back into 10 meter shooting (remotely) competition using a Daisy 777, and in the process of buying a FWB 65. At 83, can handle a 30 shot match (current club match), but don't have the stamina for cocking these critters for 60 shot matches. Wondering if these are OK or should I sell some stuff and go to a more expensive pistol?

I bought one from Pyramyd Air. I like it a lot. It comes with an air cylinder and you definitely get 180 shots for a 200 bar (2900 psi) fill.

I was fortunate enough to get a 20% discount when I bought one during the Pyramyd Air Cup event. That's $800 plus shipping.

I am currently doing two monthly 60 shot 10m air pistol matches with it. I use RWS R10 pellets now and my scores improved with the premium pellets.

I am also planning on using it for air pistol silhouette shooting with the addition of a clamp on barrel scope rail and a red dot pistol scope.

I am in the process of looking for the AP20pro for a good price right now to practice my Bullseye with. Do you have a preference on pellets that work good?

Hi petergrhn, congrats on still shooting at your age of 83, I'm going on 80 in 4 months and shooting in my basement at 8 meters...

Does that bottle or cylinder stay on the gun when shooting ? I dont see any air tube under the barrel so I guessed it does.....

it seems like a very good price for a Competition 10 meter pistol...

I'm shooting CO2, SS, BA, Adj Trigger, Match Stock, Red Dot sights...under $300.00...
