Anyone have experience with the .25 Huggett Snipe?

I too have had good results with the Huggett Snipe in .25 caliber. Easy removal of innards as described. One of my end pieces was a little too tight, but using a pair of rubber gloves, I was able to remove it with minor effort.
The 'swirled' ones look really good on the rifle as well, but a little more cash is needed to buy those.

The core has 3 aluminum 'skeleton' tubes inside that have a small mesh screen covered with a white felt material (not really felt, but similar). There are also 2 aluminum spacers between the skeleton tubes. The skeleton tubes also fit into a recess in each cap to encapsulate for no movement once the caps are screwed on.
This is specifically for the Snipe. Shorter or longer will have less or more of the same parts.

While it's subjective, I like the Huggett Snipe model on a .22 M3 going around 925FPS. Darn quiet. It's not just me, but me shooting buddies use the same model and sitting next to them, there are times when I can't tell if they pulled the trigger or not.
I believe that Huggett makes one larger than the Snipe, but the Snipe to me is the right size, not too long and the diameter is slightly larger than the Impact shroud.

Thanks Im debating the snipe vs astille...

I have the 30 cal Astille on my avenger 25 cal Bullpup and with one extension it is very quiet. With two extensions it is indoor in the house quiet.
Penchetta had good prices and in-stock inventory a couple months back when I bought it.
Penchetta's has lower prices on the Huggetts then the competition. Really good customer service and shipping as well
