Anyone have the FWB Basic Field target rifle? opinions?

Will be a 12 FPE rifle and ideal if going into the WFTF class. If going HUNTER or OPEN it is NOT the gun you want because those classes allow 20 FPE and the FWB CAN NOT go that high in power, or really close enough to be worth while.

What class are you interested to get into ?

On a budget for rifle and scope etc .... Hunter is far and away the best class to get FT shooting exposure IMO.

I am interested in the FWB field target rifles because I love the FWB triggers in my 603 and P70. I am thinking that a similar FWB trigger would be in their field target specific rifle.

Yes the FWB FT Basic will have a top notch FWB match trigger.

No experience with this rifle but it will have the same barreled action (& trigger group) as the FWB 800. I am sure it will shoot great. I have a FWB 601 and my daughter shot an 800 for a while and both triggers are great. FWB makes great rifles.
