Anyone heard of Pneuwa Cattleman Airguns?

I want to see Cattleman succeed, only if they produce a quality airgun. Victoria the owner told us how she grew up shooting and hunting. Victoria, please make a video of your own, with you shooting the rifle your family has built. Nothing fancy, put it on a bench and shoot 50yrds, 5 shot groups with quality pellets. Most all airgun do well with JSB 18's. My Pishtov will do 1 inch at 40yrds. Yours should do much better, no music, emogies or special effects please. IF YOU believe in your product show us and we will support you!

It sounds like the guns are going to get sorted out and to me that is just good for everyone. I hope to see this American company succeed as well as consumers being able to buy a working rifle with acceptable accuracy and shot count. I unfortunately don’t have any time to take on any project guns right now otherwise I’d pick one up just to play with as it looks like they would make a good base for a great bench rifle.

The materials for the improvements have already been ordered. the company tells me that =This will happen FAST!

It was nothing more than a change on the material needed that the hammer rides on. A simple thing.

It as nothing more than the rod the hammer rides on being SS, and the hammer being SS. This caused galling and hence differing hammer strike energy. Anyone who has one of these units can either wait to rec a replacement rod, or simply pick up a proper section of O-1 drill rod an install it. Easy enough. It is a very inexpensive part. McMaster-Carr carries the 0-1.😉

The barrel issue (few that are an issue are being looked at now), as to the reason. I understand replacements will be available. Can't ask more than that.

I've had bad barrels from L/W more than once. It is not that big of an issue, particularly with the Company willing to replace defective bbl.s More than I can say for Walther.,

For those that think I may have a vested interest in this venture, I do not. The GTA is going to have an Auction for charity and the Gun I have here will be the item used. I simply want it to be a very good gun for our member who wins it.

I have decided on my own to make it a custom tweaked gun, from the KnifeMaker's hands. the factory will be implementing a few of my mod's. (Insert devil horns here).

This message is wee doggie approved.

Well that's good to hear.

I'm sure they will register, and get all the required permits for this raffle.......😏

If I was in the market for one of these guns, I still would be very unsure. The company itself didn’t respond to what its actual background is in PCP’s and one of our own won’t give a stamp of approval that it’s a worthwhile purchase. We know it doesn’t work right out of the box and the issues have been addressed with the company. That’s a good start. My question is are they going to stop sales until the upgraded hammer rods have been installed in their current inventory? Just keep selling and keep their fingers crossed? Include a McMaster-Carr gift certificate with every gun that goes out until the upgrade? For now, and for the guys who don’t feel like fixing a gun after taking it out of the box, I would say hold off until the upgraded gun is in production. What’s so hard about saying that?

What’s so hard about saying that?

Maybe because he hasn't been able to test all the changes yet?

I agree with you on waiting until the guns get straightened out. This kind of reminds me of what DAR went through.

I think Aim Sports and Cattleman are probably somewhat similar as they started in the firearms industry.

I can go to their site or eBay right now and buy one. Is it worth it right now? A simple yes or no. I know the answer, but it would carry more weight if a hopefully unbiased reviewer would say it. Just hoping Knife doesn’t have FGS. I would be very disappointed.

Simple, I'm not taking sides. Only trying to help. I am in NO way affiliated with the company, and am not privy to their plans other that it appears they are very interested in sending out a quality product.

Big Tin Boat, why don't you go on over to the GTA and lend them your legal advice. No doubt you are well full of it! I'm sure it will

be appreciated.

Actually it's not. I few year ago I made a post exposing some unscrupulous things that one of their "sanctioned vendors" was doing. I received a PM from the site owner saying "he needs to make money, and your posts are not necessary", and my post was removed even though it was total truth. I then started removing all of my posts, and was banned so as to stop me from doing so. Haven't been back since.

I'll just notify the Attorney General of California and let him know. I hear the GOVT out there takes their $$$ seriously.
