Anyone heard of Pneuwa Cattleman Airguns?

Now that I think about it, I do have a spare Evanix poppet or two here. Perhaps I should install one and put a bushing in the valve body to utilize the smaller evanix pin. which is too large for good air flow for slugs as well, but I turned down the mid section on them for mover volume. 😉

The poppet pin in the test gun is a full 3/6" in dia. A tool steel pin at 3/32 or al little larger would be idea. and I saw a lot of galling. Especially for a new unit. SS on SS is a huge no-no! Making a brass tube to take up the difference and pressing it in the valve body for the pin to render into a tried an true hot rodding technique in slug shooters, and will stop the galling for good. ;<)

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I wanted to extend my gratitude to those who are supporting Cattleman Guns, it is a true honor. I see there is misinformation posted here and I am hoping to rectify some of this.

After the Homestead Act of 1862 was enacted it provided traders and settlers with means to acquire cheap western lands. Its intent was for farming but was exploited by ranchers. Cattle Kingdom became the trend. This was the first time in history where all races could work together united without prejudice. Men from all walks of life set out on a dream—a dream for freedom, for equality, and opportunity.

Cattleman Guns is an American based business that would like to keep these traditions going. We were forged under the same hopes of opportunity and dreams of instilling unification through our constitutional-given right to bear arms. Cattleman Guns would like to present our members and Veterans with the highest respect and quality we can render.

I grew up on a farm where we had all walks of creatures, but I am also a complete history nerd... the first time in American history where race didn't matter was when the cowboys were formed.

So not only did I grow up with the principles of a farm life, seeing the hard work it takes every day from dust to dawn, learning that integrity and respect— I also want to remember who built this country. Without those settlers traveling out west—who knows where we would be.

So as a reminder from my childhood and from our history past, I named my company Cattleman Guns.

Pneuwa is the name my brother came up with—he figured pneuwa—pneumatics, pneuwa is the name that represents the PCP side of my company. I am also a wholesale firearm importer so to distinguish my real firearms from my PCP, my brother came up with Pneuwa.

The manufacturer for my company is "Cattleman Guns Turkey" that is my licensed, patented, and registered manufacturing name in Turkey.

I am not associated with any other company or manufacturing that has similar products. Yes, I took a design that someone poorly manufactured and brought it to the drawing table. However, we do offer services, upgrades, and repairs to products such as Pishtov, Sovran Air, Milano, and Retay.

My brother is in the Army serving in Iraq as we speak. He was going to help me with this adventure but was deployed shortly after getting our manufacturing situated. My father is a retired Marine. My grandfather, US Navy, my other grandfather was in the Air Force. Each and every purchase from Cattleman Guns will donate 10% to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Semper Fi Fund. THANK YOU VETERANS AND TROOPS! We cannot show enough gratitude or respect to you and your family.

All of my products come with a 1 Year Replace, Repair, Service Warranty. If you are not satisfied with your product that you received from us, Send it back! The last thing we want to do is disappoint a customer. As for our customer service—you can call, text, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram us at any point and we will return with promptness. When you call Cattleman Guns, there is no waiting to push 1 or 2 for customer service, push 3 for complaints, when you call, you will have a real person speaking with you immediately. If no one answers, we are on the line with another customer and do not want to be rude. We will call you back as quickly as we are capable of.

Customer Feedback is VITAL to our company. We love hearing from you whether it is positive or negative. We cannot improve on our products without this feedback. This is why I have sent our products for honest reviews. We do not promote reviewers whatsoever. We have no control over what they say or do.

We offer “Neighborhood Friendly” models with 700-900 FPS available

Our stock rifles reach anywhere between 900-1100 FPS depending on the grain or pellet. I will say we built this rifle for hunting. I grew up in the woods, not with a chronograph. So she likes slugs and heavier grain pellets. If you are looking for better grouping and less velocity go with the neighborhood friendly version.

I appreciate your time when reading this. I hope everyone’s family is doing well. If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you all for your support. We do lobby in DC for our 2nd Amendment Rights. I hope all of you can help join us! Stay Safe!

It is Our Right,

Thank you Victoria for your post and welcome to the forum. You will find that this forum and others are frequented by passionate Airgun enthusiasts that are extremely knowledgeable about Airguns, the group can be an asset in directing a new company in to delivering the products that the consumer wants, think of us a passionate focus group:). I don't think anyone was questioning your motivations and ethos, rather questioning a really badly done review that implied that your products could produce results that are just physically not possible...I am sure if you listen to the experts and take the advice of some of the people on this forum, they could help your brand develop and become successful. A lot of us really are wishing for an Airgun manufacturer that listens to their customers and modify their products to the needs, hopes and desires of its customers... You have a real opportunity to turn vinegar into wine...Oh and listen to Knife...

I hope I have the opportunity to talk one on one with Miss Victoria. I appreciate the company model and after seeing the quality machining of the Mono Block itself and the much improved trigger assembly, This design has great possibilities. Just a little tweaking as is needed in any new product.

Oh, and fire the lathe operator and NEVER-Ever let him touch a lathe or barrel again. "EVER"!!! ( My Poor attempt at humor).

I can see the need for the poppet pin's enormous size, ,as it is stuck in an offside position. (which I freely admit have never found or seen before and allows a much larger air pressure tube without having to rely on a very tall Mono Block,, (Rather forward thinking)!

However, narrowing the pin shaft only inside the in the valve body itself will eliminate the loss of air volume in the chamber of the valve body and greatly improve performance. The actual shaft dia, leading into the rear of the valve can be and should remain beefy as it will give longevity to the design. Particularly in higher power applications. A Hybrid if you will.

Man, I wish this old Texas could work things better. GRRRRR! Cattleman. The name kinda warms the heart of an old Texan. Kinda feels like home.

I plan to install a new barrel that I have here. (custom barrel) Tonight and see what this Gal can really do!

I do not agree with the accusations of using patriotic and Veteran remarks by the company as a scam at all. Not n the least. Seems to me, Miss Victoria is proud of her families contributions to our Country. I would very much like to see such unfounded speculations kept to oneself as there are NO proof any such thing is happening. I hate that nowadays everything is looked at in a negative way. Glass is half full way. It is not what I remember of the American Spirit!

Wow Mike, Knife, what an honor it is to speak with you both! I appreciate the support and feedback. Knife, is there anyway we can connect either by phone or email? [email protected] I would just love to pick your brain further! I strive for perfection, but there is always need for improvements.
I hope you and your family are doing well this weekend. Take Care,

Victoria

This is the model I am currently testing. Yes, the Scope is a Zeiss. I want no mistakes here.

You can see many shots here. it wants to shoot. Far too many fliers, however It kept returning to the one hole group. Strictly a barrel and choke issue. Easily resolved. This was 55 yards in gusting winds. Odd weather here in Texas the last few weeks.

Just gotta post this. I have a T1 in .22 and I'm happy so far with its performance. Yes it shoots light pellets hot. 25gr+ pellets tame it down and I get decent groups at 15 yards (I'm going to a range tomorrow to test out to 100 yards+). All in all I don't think its a bad platform for the price point. I'm not going pretend to be even close to Kinfemakers level of expertise, but I'm also not new to airguns and I can say, despite its flaws, it's not a bad pcp arirgun for it price point, but also not the best. I'm really looking forward to taking it longer range, testing more ammo through it. It has the power you only get with upgrades from premium brands, but you'll get it right out the box with this gun. In fact, with every airgun I've every purchased, none have met the reported FPS/FPE, this gun has exceeded those numbers... Even if it's not perfect, it's still a powerhouse. Follow Knifemakers advice and guidance, do his mods, or maybe the Victoria will make changes with her manufacturing process. Either way, I believe this gun can perform and at best, has a price point that is competitive and possibly better than what's currently on the market. Granted this before I've taken further 15 yards with heavy lead.. but I'm confident it will group decently from what I've shot so far. If I'm wrong or not, I'll definately report back tomorrow afternoon when I've I have tested further. Despite being new to this forum, I have a 10 year old account on Reddit with the same name and frequent /r/airguns, I won't post bs. 😉

OK, I'm old and slow. Wha tis Reddit? I've herd of it, but have no idea what it is. I look forward to your test. Mine probably has a bad barrel that simply slipped by. However, visually, on the outside it is a trainm reck. I don't know how it could pass.

Mine was very low on power, even though it is the higher power version or I would thkn as it has the 22" bbl. (23", didn't measure)? rather than the shorter version. It is a very heavy bbl.

I think I will put a multi layer thick carbon fiber wrapped light weight bull barrel barrel in it tonight if possible and re-test as the design deserves a better piece of hardware. Probably nothing more than a bad barrel slipping buy and getting into the mix.

It happens, even with the most expensive offerings form top names in the industry.😉

I see that the discription on the company site states 800 to 1100 fps, * Upgradeable. Wonder exactly what this means other than spring tension?

Mine arrived shootin JSB 18's at 760'a. After a little porting of the bbl and a new spring, she is now shooting the same pellets in the 88o's. It will take more umph for slugs though. I will try and contact the company next week. .

This has just begun.

Cattleman Guns is not a rebrand. Cattleman Guns is manufactured by “Cattleman Guns Turkey.”

I have a question. Who did your prototype testing before you went into production? To me, it appears you are putting the cart ahead of the horse. It seems like you are selling guns nationally, making money and now want us to tell you how to fix it. What background does your family have in PCP’s to put your stamp of approval on a gun that is ready to be sold? I was in the Air Force, I was in Turkey. I saw then gun makers over there and had thoughts. One actually found its way home to my gun cabinet.

No one accused Victoria of using patriotic and veteran remarks to sell Cattleman guns. I stated NuttinButBull was someone with a vested interest in cattleman using patriotism and veterans to try and promote cattleman guns. I do find it rather coincidental that Victoria shows up after NuttinButtBull was called out on his/her BS. You see I got a very strong nose for BS and will call it out as I see it. I respect your contributions to airgunning but your ability to see this BS falls short of your machining skills.

Cattle-Tov seems to be a line up of nice looking guns with a lack of quality control. When they first appeared as pishtov they caught my eye and I was curious to see what the reviews would be like. Review after review of quality control issues removed any interest I had in their guns. There’s nothing wrong with trying to promote your products as long as you’re being honest with people about what the gun can and cannot do. But when the gun is promoted in a misleading way it turns me off. Then to have people join here just to promote the product with the same type of hype salesmanship is a turn off. I would love to see cattleman take the pishtov platform and fix all of its issues. Just leave the hype salesmanship for the used car lots, quality guns speak for themself PERIOD

@ Knifemaker:

Reddit is a Forum, a bit of a different format than AGN, but also not so different. My T1 is shooting JSB 18gr at around 1000-1050fps, still too hot to group decently. This does fluctuate, and the pressure drops the more I shoot, non regulated as yours is. I noticed your posts mentioning fluctuations and a possible fix?, but I'm not familiar with the lingo. For instance, bbl? Barrel? Or does it imply more? I'm "trying" to follow your posts, but you are far beyond my experience in an airgun journey. I'm always looking to improve my skills, I've been on GTA and seen ya around there. Good to be working with the same hardware, at least until you modify yours to work better 😆🤣.

Knife maker,

Good Morning ☀️ I hope you are fairing well over there in Texas! If you are not getting the FPS we are stating, you should give us a call 443-669-7695. We have a one year warranty on all of our products and would love the opportunity to rectify any issues you are having. These numbers you are getting sound low to me. Where did you acquire this rifle from?

Thank you for the updates! Look forward to speaking with you further. Have a wonderful Sunday 🌈✨🌈

Just a bit of investigation will tell you Nuttinbutbull is NOT Victoria. He is an actual person in Louisiana, Victoria is in Pennsylvania. He was just a bit overzealous promoting M&B, you know the 100yd single hole shooter.

And I believe that Victoria came to the board after I had a few emails with her about the damage I thought M&B was doing to her brand. I gave her the AGN webpage.
