AEA Anyone machine an AEA Zeus 72 cal. poppet valve?

Has anyone made a new poppet valve for the Zeus 72 cal and out of what material? Also... How big in diameter is the poppet valve and valve housing hole? Are these bigger valves are also breaking/failing like is reported on their smaller big bore brethren.
Delrin would be best. Also make sure you don't oil it when putting the stem on it will break after a couple of shots...

Are you talking about this? The original black plastic valve got spit out the barrel in pieces. This unit allows for tighter tolerances, which results in less air loss, providing greater velocity and tighter spreads from shot to shot.... and it will never fail.

No, I am wondering how big in diameter the actual poppet valve and stem are that gets hit by the hammer and opens to start the air flowing from the cylinder. Nice job on the brass transfer port!

How can I get one of these for my .58 Zeus?

I'll sound like an idiot, but is a poppet valve the same as a valve stem? I'm trying to figure out what this is and I see photos of the valve stem lol
"Poppet valve" is generally referred to as the sealing delrin/plastic that attaches to the metal valve stem. I'm wondering how big the face of the poppet (sealing surface) is that opens to move so much air in this big of a caliber.

@Airgun-hobbyist This is what’s confusing because I don’t see the two components separate from one another. They’ve always been integral in my experience. So are you saying when referring to parts of the valve stem, that the “stem” is the metal rod and the “poppet” or “poppet valve” is the plastic piece with the sealing surface?

I suppose, depending on the person, both can be looked at as separate or integrated. I figure wording used to describe the part is also somewhat interchangable, as it is referenced both ways a lot of times on the forums.
