Aloha, Keone

Mahalo keone,

I called and they said they do fill tanks, but only the ones you buy from them. But they are all sold out at the moment and they don't know when exactly the shipment is coming in.if I don't find a place to fill the 74 cu ft tank,I'll wait till young guns have them in stock.will the av compressor fill the 74cu ft tank?

Mahalo nui,

Nainoa

Safety Systems can fill it to about 4300 psi. I think they were gonna charge me $30 but since they couldn’t get it to 4500 psi they only charged me about $25. They have a Bauer compressor but the worker couldn’t push it past 4500 psi to fill the tank fully. I called Young Guns and got the same answer. They want you to buy their hatsan tanks they bring in and then buy a punch card for a number of fills. Also heard Airgas can possibly fill tanks but did not check the price.

I called 6 scuba shops on Oahu and they all won't be able to fill past 3200 psi. After searching around and taking my tank down to Safety Systems, I gave in and bought a Yong heng and gold filter. I think it's definitely the way to go if you'll be going through a lot of air. Mine's been working great so far with my 74 cubic foot tank. During initial fill you do have to give the compressor a few breaks to let it cool, but after that, topping off has been easy. By the way, that is one mean looking gun and those slugs look pretty brutal. Perfect for blasting pigs up in the mountains. Good luck!

Google or search under here Yong Heng the ones with that written on the side I think are better. Lots of happy owners including myself. Put royal purple synthetic compressor oil in it and get a good dessicant filter between compressor and tank. You'll see with a search, ive filled my 88cu for going on 2 years with mine. Nice dry and clean air with a good filter system.
