Anyone Own A PBBA Pro 20 Shotgun?

No, but I did buy the Wingshot II and am very happy with it. While the PBBA Pro Shotgun looks great for a lot of reasons, I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a pressure gage on the rifle, no do I like the fact that there are no parts available, nor does PBBA do repairs on the rifle. PBBA doesn't sell parts or do repair work. If you end up getting one I would be interested to know your thoughts on it.

Hey BlindBallein thanks for the information. I didn't know about the pressure gauge or the lack of parts, service, and support. Would be a real deal breaker for me. With Airguns Of Arizona charging $1550 plus shipping you would expect some parts and customer support. Now Airgun Pro Shop is offering it for $1995. Everyone wants a big piece of the action. About all they're doing is pricing a great concept right out of the market. I hear a power upgrade for the Wingshot is available and that a guy increased his effective range by adding a 8" barrel extension. May be best to focus my attention on the Wingshot.

It may be that AOA and others that are selling it could offer parts or service, but I don't for that for certain. I would check on it before ordering just in case. The Wingshot works for me and throws a good pattern out to 25 yards (about 14 inches) without any bunching up in one spot or holes without shot landing. After 25 yards it drops off real quick, unless you make your own loads. The #8 shot works great for birds, with the #6 being a close 2nd. However, I like to load my own shot with #4 or just use BBs and can get about 24 BB in a shot load, which works great for squirrels. It gives me a heavier load with a little more range and some punch.
The arrow bolt works better than I could have imagined, and I am TAGGING my target with an arrow at 75 yards all day long. In fact, I lost 2 arrows on a 150 yard range because it flew threw the target, hay backstop, plywood, and kept on sailing right out into the trees. It was a mixture of sadness for losing the arrows coupled with great delight that the arrows basically fire like bullets. The slugs are hunting accurate to around 50 yards for me, but I haven't shot it farther than 50 yards a couple of times and hit an 8" gong at 100 yards with it scoped. It's not a tack driver, but it is more than hunting accurate.
I would like it if the Wingshot got about another 10 yards in range, but for squirrels and rabbit hunting it works just fine if you are walking brush piles on a farm or through the woods. Honestly, I am very happy with it, especially for the price. You get about 4 good shots with it before you need to refill so it is an air hog, but it makes good use of the air it uses by dumping into the huge round it throws. The bolts shoot at about 550-600 fps and I am getting around 750 fps with ball ammo. All around it is a lot of fun are pretty versatile.

Im not sure where you got your information but PBBA works on any airgun they build if there is a problem and have parts if needed. No we dont have a pressure guage, PBBA Pro 20 guage get 500 to 600 fpe also . It is not a wingshot.Thanks

Terry, After just a quick glance at the porair web site ( would thi9nk people reading the FAQ section might be reading the " we do not sell parts" " we do not make any repairs" and then think that you ( whoever) does not sell parts and do not make repairs, eh?
If indeed parts are available and or repairs can be had a change in web site wording and a kind word to the folks who thought what was written was literal and correct.

A few weeks back I had a conversation with PBBA. Seems they didn't know about the no service/no parts thing in the Q&A section. They do in fact offer parts & service and are working to fix the Q&A section on their website.

I'm not in the market right now, but is there just no way to mount a pressure gauge on a PBBA Pro 20?
Also, how is the PBBA Pro 20 capable of 500+ FPE muzzle energy when it only fills to 200 bar? Every other air gun I have found with more than 300 FPE is 250+ bar.

I think there are airguns with 200 bar pressure and 500+ fpe. One would be Quackenbush Outlaw .457. What matters is the valve size and time open to get enough air to make that sort of muzzle energy.
About PBBA Pro 20, the air tank is small size with just 150 cc. I assume number of shot counts per fill would be very low (2?) with that kind of power, but i dont see anywhere on this stat though. i may be wrong.

I just got my pbba pro 20. It comes with a 200cc air tank and fill 3200-3500 psi. Mr terry is very helpful. Awsome gun. Not sure how big the loads are for the wing shot, but you can shoot 2oz shot #6 no problem 30 yards. The gun is tuned for 1 oz but you can get 2 in the reloadable shells. I do wish it had a pressure guage. And a pic rail instead of 3/8 dovetail. I wanted to put a red dot but with a adapter it makes it a little high for fast acquisition. I also wish the chock used a more available choke thread like a Remington choke. You can get chokes from tru lock and they have a good solection. Not of the big brands user the tru choke system. I got the full choke that comes with it and bought turkey, x full, modified, cylinder, and gona get a few more. I love my pro 20. O yeah 3 shots per fill with 1200psi remaining

What does it have for a fill input? My Epox Badger .40 didn’t have a gauge. So I added one using an 
Air Venturi male to female inline gauge. I changed out the male nipple to one like used in the Marauder.

I daydream about the PBBA pro20 frequently so it's nice to see someone on the forum with one! It's advertised as a 500 FPE gun, is this true in your experience? We have a flock of turkey that comes through twice a year and I hear a Tom in the woods most days. I also like the available .308 liner and I'm curious about the muzzle energy with that as well, but I may have to call Terry to know for sure. Maybe I can treat myself to one for Christmas this year.

I had a PBBA 20ga it was a great shooter and Terry helped me with any questions I had all you have to do is call Terry he's a great guy. The 20ga I had had plenty of power and being able to change choke tubes it's very versatile.

I have done that to my seneca double shot. 8" extensions. Really tightens up the pattern at 15 and 20 yds. Didn't try further just went hunting. It's pretty accurate up to 20 yds. But at the same time I've missed landed ducks at 15 yds. After that it's pretty lame. I've killed maybe 10 teal, 1 mallard, and 3 pheasants in 3 seasons. Had a few shots on grouse. In snow, they left a blood mess on the ground and flew off from 20 25 yds. Never to be found. Squirrels, nah unless ur 10 yds from them. This year with the extension, I took 5 teal, finally got the mallard and a pheasant. But only pheasant hunted once. Looking to upgrade to the new serpent arms 28 Guage or the pbba. To do geese and turkey.
