Just curious, I tried it a decade or more ago, I think Knife recommended it at the time, just don’t recall how it worked.

Anyone use Slick50 for slug lube

I did initially in 2017 because I had some. It got low and I couldn’t find any so I had to look for a new magic potion. Fortunately in a conversation with Knife he had just started using silicone. So that’s what I switched to. I’ve wanted to switch off silicone for years because it’s messy but just haven’t heard of a substitute that sounds convincing. The Slick 50 worked fine. A little messy also.

I use the Slick 50 for .177 pellets in one of my field target guns.
Currently getting unbelievably good results lubing the .20/18.9gr NSA with Gunzilla.

Yeah, I have used 30 wt silicone for years, but I keep coming upon a bottle of Slick50 while rummaging through my treasures, seems like it should work, but a little messy. I need to research Gunzilla.

I have been using slick 50 for over 10 yrs .
Clean with dawn , rinse with hot water , sun dry .
Put the tin of pellets in a baggie give a lite squirt then roll them round in it , remove put back in the tin .
Easypeasy .
