I have a 500mm barrel maverick in 25 and wondering if anyone is using a low power tune with good accuracy? I'm talking 750-800fps max with a 25g pellet.? If your using a good "pellet"/hammer setting please share to get me close to where I'm trying to be. Thanks

Not exactly your question. but, from my end...
All of my guns are .22 cal. The end use should be similar. Unless your .25 pellet is over 50 or so grains in weight, your "low" power (?) should be just fine for accuracy up to 25 or 30 yrds.
Yeah, I've tuned all of my guns (the tuneable ones) to about 800fps. I don't shoot to 75 or 100 yrds, so I don't need the power, and see no sence in beating up the guns internal parts with a higher pressure than needed.
Plus, you may notice the UK. "don't" get the power (pressure) capabilities' that we in the US do ! Their max. is much lower than our max. power, and funny thing, they are still...accurate !
The 800fps that I use is just fine at 25yrds up to 25grn. pellet weight.
Oh yeah, all of my guns are also, like yours, shorter barreled.

I have a crown mk2 with a 380mm .25 barrel set at 804 fps. Its deadly accurate and I have used it out to 85 yds on starlings with excellent results. I dont know if the extra barrel length will have a different result.

I've got my 25 caliber 350mm barreled L2 tuned down to 775fps with most of my engagements being within 65 yards max. The slower speed does not seem to bother the Raccoons at all. Anyway their not bitching about it much, as their doing their KC & company get down tonight dance moves.

250mm L2 at ~810 fps with the ~26gr Exacts. Plenty accurate for my needs, I'd take a bit flatter though.....

I went even slower to try out at 695fps with the 25g kings and accuracy is the normal one holer at 25yds. The report is more backyard acceptable, and the air consumption is noticeably lesser! I managed to take out a chipmunk with the low power tune and the sound of the pellet making contact was still like it was moving 900fps! More testing to come

I have a Maverick Compact in 25. I'm running 150/136 on the regs. With domed pellets I'm getting 930 @ power wheel 7, 600ish @ pw 4 and 400ish @ pw 1 (don't have my notes here). I think a 5 or 6 on the power wheel would put you in that 750-800 range.

I shoot a .25 Crown with the short 380mm barrel. It’s tuned to 865fps with 25.4’s. Then I just turn the transfer port knob to low and it drops the 25.4’s to 500 fps.
I blast a lot chipmunks around the house and .25 at 14 ft/lbs is fantastic out to about 40yds.
