There's sometimes different barrels, sights and stocks on the Beeman R models. Lots of times they're exactly the same. It's upto you to pick out the differences and determine what's their value to you. For example I like the Goudy R1 stock more than the original HW80 stocks so I bought a used R1 for more than a new HW80.

The guts are pretty much the same on these.

Hw30 = R7
Hw95 = R9
HW80 = R1

There's a R8 but I'm not sure what it's Hw equal is. I'm sure someone here will know.

The Hw99 is a the same as a US Hw50. I'm not sure if the 99 has a different spring. UK has a 12 fpe limit and the US Hw50 dances on the edge of that.

A bit of history on the R8 aka Original HW50. They had 25mm comp tubes and make around 9fps where the newer 50s models have a 26mm comp tube and make around 12fpe.

From another post on AGN, the R8 I just got from AOA and fits in very nicely with the 2 R7's (.177 and .20) the R9 (.20) and the R10 (.20) I also have:
