AOA has a Daystate Huntsman package Good deal?

I bought the Regulated version in.25 and I love it. I think it is a terrific deal. Keep in mind if you open up your rifle to install a regulator, you void the warranty. My wood is OK in terms of grain, but I spiffed it up with multiple coats of Lin Speed and white (0000) Scotchbrite, and it is very pretty. I was hoping for something closer to the luscious wood of the gun in then brochure. I could care less about shot count, I don’t wander around in the woods with ir, and I can tether a small carbon bottle to it.

I know pictures sometimes don't do it justice but it would be nice to see a pic of yours and how it turned out. I need to feed my airgunporn addiction lol.

Lots of good info already. If you need a complete kit, it seems like a good package. The one you linked is non reg, they do have a kit with the reg gun LINK

All I gotta say as an owner of a 25 cal, they are no "plinker" haha
I just bought a 177 with a 21rd mag to be my primary shooter "plinker"

$0.063 / Rd vs $0.030 / Rd

Non regulated vs regulated is just a personal thing. If you are new to pcp a non regulated will probably be fine. Once you have been into it awhile and shoot regulated guns and see the steady speeds and steady accuracy it’s hard to go back. I’ve only had a couple non regulated guns and they honestly seem like there own individual animals. I had a gamo urban that shot great and didn’t really shift poi much through the shot curve. I currently have a gamo coyote that just sits in the safe. It’s nearly the same gun but just trying to get a 2 mag string together always has the group climbing a little higher as the velocity apparently goes up a bit. The urban didn’t really do that 🤷‍♂️. It’s annoying so it sits as why shoot that when I can grab a higher quality regged gun that puts em all in the same spot as long as I do my part.

If you don't want to purchase a chronograph and just shoot it out of box after a barrel cleaning get the regulated one . You could even ask AOA to tune it for 18g around 890-900 fps and just enjoy shooting it. And yes to .22 caliber also. Do you want a 500 count of JSBs for 20 bucks or 150 rds for 20 bucks. If the thought of shooting paper for fun or getting more shots per fill sounds good then get the. 22 .

If you don't want to learn a bell curve, without a chronograph vs shooting a constant 880 fps from first shot until the last with a reg. Do you have a shot string with the unregulated airgun ? My unregulated airguns usually have a 40 fps swing up then down . Nothing wrong with an unregulated gun but 250-300$ airguns are using a regs these days. I wonder if adding a huma reg would affect the warranty or does Daystate say its fine to work on their airguns.
