AoA pre order

If it's not in stock I won't order it. But that's just me.
What he said 👆👆

I think a Lot of us OG guys got vaccinated on the pre-order deal a few years back with the Edgun fiasco.
True they did end up delivering after multiple missed estimated ship dates but that whole deal seemed to be a pretty shady way of building up front capitol to produce a new gun..

To be completely honest the manufactures should NOT put anything out there hyping it up until the dealers have the product in stock and ready to ship.

If you have faith in your new gun, platform, widget, whatever, prove it by having the sack to put them on the shelf before blitzing social media..

I know this is not the case with Weihrauch but it seems seems to be the normal MO of some manufacturers.

Ok haters and fan boys have a party with my statements, yeah you are right we as the consumers should be the beta testers, and true we should be the poor bastards financing the builds for these guys, and lastly lets be sure we give them the solution's to any problems they overlooked while designing the guns they want us to finance..

So in closing, Not a fan of the pre-order nonsense... 💩

I wouldn’t pre order a new to market product that has not been in production. I thought OP was talking about a springer from Weihrauch that is just backordered and has been produced for many decades.
Not really.. cause i guess they discontinued the old standard stock for that new one ..

I would call and ask what the ETA is. I put a $25 deposit on an HW50 that was out of stock at the time. They said that they were expecting the next shipment in three weeks, but ended up getting it two weeks later. I paid for the remaining balance and expect to get it by the original estimate that THEY were expecting to get it.

I can understand people not wanting to put money down on a new to market gun. This was just for an out of stock gun, though it was listed as a pre order (with deposit) on their website.

I was kinda wondering of they get a minimum order to just cover pre-order that all they do. Then it seems ordering a case of guns or 2 cases for stocking just as easy.

With buy den omics as it is they maybe just cutting any overhead and only filling a preorder market ? . Then hw pricing jumping a lot of people just walk away now.

I see at AoA some Weihrauch are on pre order with a deposit.

Has anyone got one on pre order and was given a E.T.A. Or just a twiddle your thumbs hope for the best till you may just give it up?
I ordered the HW97K in .177 in early October 😳 AoA called on 4/28/2023 to tell me it was in. So expect a solid wait time if you do preorder. Ill say those Weihrauch guns are worth it. Also check Krale seems like they are cheaper and get here faster. Don’t give up.

Krale,? Not anymore.. they had a pricing jack and that if any savings is gone.

I think theres one hw85 standard stock in .177 only thats i guess last of that old stock cheap still.

Only thing I've ever pre-ordered was H&N FTT .20 cal pellets when every retailer was waiting for shipments. Pre-order was for 10 tins of 500 each and around the same time H&N was cutting tin size from 500 to 250.
When AoA emailed to say they were finally in and being packed to ship, I called to double check tin count. Rich said give him a second and when he came back said yep, you're right, they're only 250's, let me talk to the boss. Got back on a couple minutes later to tell me the boss said to double the shipment and send 20 tins since my pre-order was for 5000 pellets.
Worked out to $7.75 a tin they now charge $12.99 for, I'm set for a good long time and a very happy AoA customer considering how well they took care of me.

A couple of years ago when the HW50s was only offered in .177 and.22 AoA started taking special orders for the 50 in.20 caliber. They would place an order if they had 10 deposits. The wait time was 6 to 8 weeks and they were pretty much on the mark, I had mine in 8 weeks. I know they're not known for low prices but I never had a problem with them.
