I ordered two FX no limit mounts from AoA. I was told the shipping would be 5.95? or 6.95? I asked can you drop two tins of pellets in with the mounts? Their answer was NO, you would need a bigger box and the cost would be 10.95 I passed I did promptly receive the box. The box was about 12 inches long, and 61/2 inches hi and 6 inches wide. The two mounts were bubble wrapped and surrounded by packing pellets looking at my invoice I was billed 10.95 The box would make do as a coffin for one of my Chihuahua's. over kill to say the least for two sets of mounts.
 
Yeah I'm kind of disappointed in them my self. Had my impact worked on and told them I would come down to pick it up a couple days after it was ready because I'd be in Phoenix anyway. When I get there they had shipped it to my house, I wasn't going to be home for a few days thankfully my neighbor was able to pick it up for me otherwise it would have sat there till I got home.

Because shipping cost are by weight not by volume, mounts weight almost nothing, pellets are heavy. Shipping at AoA is not the best for sure.

I paid for airgun $1500, they charged me $30 for shipping, when I called a bit later and asked to add couple more tins of pellets I was expecting they'll just drop pellets in the same box, nope - they increased shipping by another $15.

Come one AoA - I'm paying way more than a thousand dollars and you still charge shipping for a couple tins of pellets.

Jake, at least I had better luck with timing

I was about to leave my home for a week, asked to hold shipping and they told me no problem and shipped my package almost a week later.

The lesson here is don't buy stuff from a website when there's a human salesperson available.
I buy tons of stuff from Pyramyd Air but I never use the website. I call the same guy every time. The sales people are on commission and if you get one that's been at it for a while he'll know the value of a "relationship" with his clients. My guy treats me like I'm his favorite guy and that comes with some fine perks. You see, I could just order from the website and cut him out of the loop completely. But websites doesn't give a crap if you order or not. They certainly aren't going to offer you any non-advertised discounts or give you free shipping when your order doesn't meet the minimum. A human sales person with a mortgage and a family to feed has a different set of motivations.

Doing business the old fashioned way has definite perks.

I can't agree with what happened that's very unfortunate but I do know I call Darren at AoA and order all my stuff not though the website but call and Speak with him personally either Kip Darren or rich speak with him personally either Kip Darren or Rich will answer the phone and will help you anyway the can I order a lot from them and other places like Utah air and pyramid air everyone makes mistakes every company on handrail with Hans had little mistakes bought as a business owner things happen that is out of their control. If you call AOA and ask for Darren he will make it right. John

Just Got off the phone with Rich... simple typo error and all is well. He is shipping me the correct pellets and a return label. Told Rich he could wait and send the pellets at a later date, but he insisted on sending them today to take care of the glitch....cant expect any better service than that. Im not sure WHO others use at AOA, but Rich has always did a good job with my orders, in hind sight I should have waited until I talked to AOA before posting the negative post. That's on me....😒

Just saw another vendor that stocks FX mounts, there's nothing they offer that I can't get elsewhere. You get one shot with me screw me once your done.

I'm with you on this one! My first air rifle came from aoa and they ripped me a new one on shipping. After I bought my first 300S I was testing pellets and ordered pellets from PA and paid extra for two day shipping, that order took a day longer to get to my house than the order place a week earlier that used standard shipping. Both orders were placed on Friday in the morning. I called but PA wouldn't do anything about it. Needless to say I haven't bought from either one of them since and wont unless they are the only ones that have what I need.
