Apolo .25 33 grain domes?

I can imagine. Lmao. I ordered one tin from Amazon to test. The tin looks like it went into one of those machines that crush cars. I mean I don’t even know how Amazon manages that wtf. The funniest thing is these pellets are so hard they aren’t even damaged. Utter junk. I will be shocked if they shoot out of an fx superior liner. Will report back.

I was actually completely wrong. Here are two five shot groups out of a 500 mm Maverick at 800 fps. Only thing left is to see if these results hold true out of a 600 mm superior liner going 80 fps faster. Might end up being a viable 25 heavy pellet at .05 a round.

You are referring to the vortex strike pellets? I have wondered about those too. Do you happen to know anywhere that sells these apolo besides Amazon ? I thought maybe field supply but they only have the slugs.

Midway sells Apolo and Air Boss, which I believe is Apolo’s premium line.

Midway packs pellets worse than anybody, but they have reasonable pricing and carry H&N as well as Apolo.

I’ve tried a bunch of the Apolo and Air Boss, they all shot pretty well. I shot some 195+ scores using Air Boss pellets in the 30 Yard Challenge. Not as good as JSB/FX in my guns, but pretty good.

Just an update. These do very acceptable out of my 600 mm impact too. Not as well as fx 33.95 or jsb heavies but a solid 1” at 50 which is fine for hunting. I initial tried them in the upper 870’s out of the 600 mm liner but found they actually tightened up at 900 fps quite a bit.
