Apolo Air Boss Domed 30 cal 49 gr Pellets?

Have any of you tried the Hatsan branded Apolo 49 grain 30 cal domed pellets?

I ordered a tin to try in my AEA .30 cal Standard with 24" barrel. The pellets have a fairly thick skirt, none were deformed, and were reasonably clean. They seemed to be pretty decent for the money, but my AEA has a .303 barrel and did not shoot the Airboss pellets as well as the Hatsan Vortex pellets, or NSA 47.2 gn slugs in .303 size.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try a tin and see how it goes. What diameter were the ones you tried?

Just my opinion but 15 yards means nothing. Rocks might group at that dist. Lol. I shot some more yesterday and they did a little better at 50 but always several fliers that open groups up well over an inch. I guess .09 a piece vs .14-.15 makes them an ok plinker pellet for sure. Please try them out further and post back. Every gun is different and that is awesome if yours ends up shooting them well as they are cheap.

15 yards is all I have right now with the weather. It gives me a good idea how something might perform that tends to hold true out to about 30 yards if there isn't any wind. I am just wanting cheap plinkers. One inch at 30 yards is good enough for me for what they are. No, it isn't like a nice JSB but they only cost me 5 cents each. I usually shoot my own NOE cast hollow points out of my Gauntlet and they do better than these pellets, sometimes better than the JSBs.

I will say I was not very impressed by the accuracy. I was hoping for better. I have some Apollo ammo that shoots much better than these.
