Has anybody shot these slugs by chance? I ordered a tin off Amazon on a whim (only $11 for 200 slugs). But these are the UGLIEST slugs I’ve ever seen! Not a perfectly round base or tip in the bunch. Haven’t shot them yet, but I pray they fly better than they look……..anybody had luck with ‘em?

I’d be shooting them out of an AGT U2 600. I figure if anything can shoot them well it’s that rifle.

Well, they've never really been bad, they be not as pleasing as the other slugs to look at but they expand well and they hit the mark. I believe they're pure lead which is why they're so cheap, and they're made in Argentina.

Tried today these slugs. Very cheap (cost less than JSB/FX pellets) and perform quite well. Not as good as ie JSB Knockouts from my barrel (600mm FX superior) but close enought. Very similar in size and shape (Apollo is slightly longer) to Knockouts. In pictures Knockouts is that have deeper skirt.

Unsorted (straigh from tin) JSB KO mkII vs Apolo slug at 40yard. JSB group is best that I have shot with that slug so somewhat unfair to Apolo. Normally KO will open aswell when firing 10 or more shot. Apolo had pretty decent 7 shot group and other 3 were of.

Another card for Apolo. (16 shot) As seen most are very accurate, but slugs are not as consistent as KOs.

Pure or not pure, material price is "same", talking about cents in price difference per kg.

Finally got around to shooting these things and was not impressed. About a 1 inch group at 25 yards out of my Uragan 2 600. I won’t be buying any more of them.

They shoot well out of my buddy's impact. One thing to note is that the faster you shoot these slugs, the better they perform. So anywhere from nine twenty to a thousand is what I have found.Found a decent price on these slugs here
