Airgun Technologies Applying Heat Shrink Tubing to Outside of Barrel?

you can make a de-pinger with a piece of foam rubber, a bristle brush or even a piece of rubber hose that fits somewhat snug inside the air tube about halfway inside, it only needs to about 1-2 inches long.
I went with the bottle brush method for de-ping. I got one with a slightly larger diameter than that of my air tube. I then cut about a 3 inch piece and inserted it to a little more than half way on mine, so as to not interfere with my regulator. Works superbly. Added benefit of using the bottle brush is that it isn't affected by the pressure changes. Foam rubber, Styrofoam and things of that nature expand and shrink with the pressure changes resulting in deterioration of the material. I do not have any experience in cleaning tiny pieces of foam rubber or Styrofoam out of my gun, but I am positive that its not as much fun as shooting it.

Just wanted to share my thoughts.
