The normally-scheduled April 6 Bench-Rest Silhouette match at Central Texas Rifle & Pistol Club will not happen, in order to afford AAFTA FT shooters additional competition practice to prepare for the upcoming Cajun Classic AAFTA Grand Prix. Instead, the April TEXtreme matches will be AAFTA-style rifle and pistol matches. The pistol match will take place on Friday, April 5, and the rifle match on Saturday, April 6. Entry fees are $20 for one scorecard, or $30 for two scorecards (rifle or pistol). Rifle Match Winner and Pistol Match Winner hat pins and TEXtreme Airgun Sports engraved pellet tins will be awarded.
Additionally, the normally-scheduled May TEXtreme AAFTA-style FT matches will instead be EXTREME Field Target matches; this to allow folks additional competition opportunities to prepare for our June TEXtreme GRAND PRIX weekend, and Airguns Of Arizona’s annual Extreme Bench-Rest weekend (later this season). Entry-fee and prize details for the May TEXtreme EFT weekend will be forthcoming in April.
As usual for all TEXtreme rifle matches, the rifle matches in both aforementioned (April and May) weekends will take place on the first Saturday of those months. The pistol matches on both (April and May) weekends will be shot on Friday.
All shooters meetings on both weekends will be at noon, the matches to begin shortly after completion of the meetings. The sight-in/practice range will be open on all match days from 10 AM till noon (shooters meetings), and also from 5 till 7 PM on both Fridays.
