Are my eyes crooked?

Yes, for sure

A scope leveling tool that aligns the scope exactly over the bore centerline is the best way to begin setting up the scope. Once the scope is over the bore, then level the reticle with a plumbline, then mount a spirit level on the scope tube. If you shoot at various distances, this procedure is the best. Don't rely on a part of the gun or receiver to be "level". since any slight offset of mounting setup or barrel alignment will likely make the "flat" on stock or receiver off-level.

Learn to use the spirit level on the scope for best precision shooting at various distances. Horizons are rarely level.

I’ve been using the EXD engineering device since they came out along time ago. They ran a advertisement in Varmint Hunters magazine in one of the first ten issues and I promptly ordered one. Fast forward to today and found that it might be a little shaky on a springer since the bottom ^ wasn’t on the barrel so I used the cover over the “ loading port”. The reticle looks good with the plumb bob and straight when shouldering it but will have to shoot at various ranges to confirm. I’m thinking of trying the mirror method also. Good luck

If you set everything up correctly, are a right handed shooter and your reticle appears rotated counter clockwise and it bothers you, switch hands, look through your scope and see if it then appear rotated in the clockwise direction. Chances are it will. Rest assured it is a weird ergonomic/optical thing and your scope is properly leveled.

The lesson here is the importance of permanently installing a bubble level on your scope or action and using it every time you sight through your scope. If you say you don't have time to use a level in a hunting situation, that's fine. Install one anyway and practice using it in target situations. Eventually your eye will become accustomed to the crooked looking sight picture and you'll be able to duplicate it closely when there is no time to look at a level. I had no idea how crooked I was holding my rifles in order to make the sight picture appear level until I started using bubble levels. Now every one of my air rifles has a bubble level on the action. And that crooked looking sight picture? I know it's good.
