Are there any youth/short stock factory springers?

My whisper fusion mach1.22 been a pretty good squirrel woods thug. Its one id buy another..
There's only one rule in my household. You don't have to eat all your vegetables but if you bring a rifle into the house it darn well better have a wood stock

Hatsan had them 450fps ones but dont see em now .. my 95 was about the easiest to cock .( Once you get rid of the grinding).

Umarex had there 450fps models in great deals . May still list one on sale.

Surprised poor ol gamo dont have somthing of intrest ( gamo usa).

This alpha i was going to suggest but apparently its been discontinued

I noticed a lot of the youth oriented things( guns) are fading away..antigun/ woke ya know.
Have an Alpha. NO! For kids. Noisy, and the sights hit low at 10 yards.
Crosman has the Tryo, under $100, should be decent.

Specifically a springer? How about a Daisy Avanti single stroke pneumatic? These are designed for junior shooters. I have two from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. They are reconditioned rifles (you can buy new versions fron retailers). Both have been very accurate rifles. They are meant for 10 meter junior competition but I also plink with them out to 20 yards.
So many great replies to my post!

Rodeo you know, my brother actually gave my son a couple "junk" air rifles hoping we could get one to work for a little "competition" here. I picked up a pretty nice one for myself, but have been working on something for him. One of the junk guns turned out to be a Daisy Avanti. I had no idea what it was called until looking up your suggestion. It seems functional, I had thought if I get it working I'd trim the stock down some. What's wrong with it? Well, it must have 200 Pellets stuck in the barrel.....And down in the action. How someone managed that's beyond me. I could see one or 2 or 3....Maybe it was done intentionally, I dont know. The pneumatics seem to be working though. The others are Chinese break barrels, kinda rusted and one seems to have a bad piston. One is marked "Arrow" and the other is only in Chinese. Some kind of side lever? Maybe not really worth working on or cutting down?

Anyway, I'd like to get him something a little nicer to shoot, but I really want to feel out his interest/Attention span before buying something a little more elite.

Keep in mind the effort it takes to cock some of the break barrels. Nothing will turn him off to shooting airguns faster than not being able to use it without help or difficulty. A CO2 powered rifle might also be a possibility but I don't know what might be available in a youth size.
Hope you can get the barrel cleared on the Avanti. They really are a nice rifle for younger shooters.

Well I almost got the pellets clear on the Avanti, but I may have bent the aluminum housing (super soft). It's probably a lost cause anyway.
I did take apart the 2 Chinese rifles and the "Arrow" break barrel has a piston seal that's mostly gone/w damaged piston. So it's a no go.
The other Chinese gun is a side lever. Somewhat rusty but does appear to be in working order.

I fired one of the 177 cal pellets I got out of the Avanti (no joke) and it felt fairly powerful.

What I don't like about that rifle is the mechanism. It looks like a trap that could make Garand Thumb look like a minor Boo Boo...

Not 100% sure if I want my son loading pellets with that side lever cocked. If it were to fire or "go off" while he's thumbing a pellet, I can see a broken or damaged thumb..... An adult could hold the lever to the rear while loading, but maybe not a boy? Overall it is approx a youth length rifle.

Are there any rifles similar to be bought? Something of a better make?

Ok, mainly just out of curiosity....

Are there any short stock/youth air rifles on the market? If there are, any of decent quality?
Take a look at the Daisy 120/GAMO Cadet. It's my understanding it was intended to be a youth rifle. The safety automatically engages when its cocked. The length of pull is about 12.75". For comparison purposes, the length of pull on my 397PA is 13.5".
