I was looking at bringing some air rifles in from out of country and I have read people have had to pay customs? If so how would I know how much that would be?
Are there customs fees with importing airguns? Where can I find out the rate?

Under $800 is duty free. Over $800 its like 10% tax. If its over $800 and the product is made in China you're looking at I an additional 25% tax on top of the 10% I believe.
I can't remember the exact numbers but its something like that. If you're simply moving I don't know how that works.

Yeah its not too crazy of a fee as long as its not a Chinese made product. I think I paid like $60 tax on my Falcon X50 when I bought it from Krale. It was like $807 before shipping.

More like UPS isn't. My $807 scope I originally paid an additional $260 in fees on. That didn't seem right so I ended up calling UPS and asking why. Well Krale had the X50 listed as "made in China" which tacked on an additional 25% tax. Sent them a link to Falcons X50 product page which distinctly says "Made in Japan" and they processed a $200 refund.

Bear-of-Grayling figured it out about a year ago, in 1971 CBI (Caribbean Basin Initiative) was established so Import Duty Fees could be collected by USA. Since the Netherland Antilles, in the Caribbean, are under Dutch (Netherlands) administration we are charged duty fees buying from Krales in the Netherlands, that is, anything over $800. WM

I bought my 177 and 22 P35s at the same time last May - so total sale was a bit over $800. I paid a duty fee to UPS and I don't really remember how much it was but I am pretty sure it was under $100. The P35 is made by SPA in China. Maybe I was lucky. I should have bought them one at a time, I guess.
