HW/Weihrauch Are you missing out? Little group therapy with the HW100 BP in .22.

On one hand...yeah, I like them.
I have two, one is a right side cocking, one is a left side cocking. I took the longer version and cut the barrel, so it's close to the same length as the full, bull pup. So they are both short. I bought the second gun, just because I wanted the left side cocking lever.

Problem is, they BOTH currently...leak. One from the front-lower receiver block, the other from the magazine slot.

I took the magazine slot leaker apart last night. Didn't change any o-rings yet though.

And...HELL no, without a good muffler, they AREN"T...quiet. One of the noisier guns around. At least the shorter barrel guns.

Maybe a third one will be the lucky one that...doesn't freaking...leak.

Mike

I haven't seen one with the left side cocking lever, Where are they available?

Beautiful stock on that one! Keeper for sure.

I assume it is the HW100 rifle action. I have a carbine in .177 and it's my favorite yard gun. I tuned it down to a little over 11 fpe, and it's virtually silent, great shot count, and very accurate. Power is still sufficient for squirrels at 35 yards, which is about my maximum yard range. I guess the rifle was designed around the sub-12 European standard, and that's where it really excels. We Americans tend to screw things up with our desire for power.
