Kalibrgun ARGUS 60 -- .30

So I been burned by airguns of Arizona one last time on a Cricket, the first time was with a Cricket compact in .177 wich blow the seals after the 4 shot from the first fill .. these one was in no way ready to be shipped and they did .. I asked for the feedback of the gun before purchasing, seller told me that the gun was received after a week because the buyer needed the money for a emergency and the gun was in flawless condition.. well I pay , gun received, I shipped the gun back next day AM . They keep $250+ in restocking fees . Why I shipped the gun back .. gun was heavily used obviously more than a week that was a gun some one took there as a

trade . It could not hold a group at 20y no matter what. Why baffles where destroyed . Big amount of lead between the baffles n they shipped the gun like that.. there is no way that gun had hold the group they send on the package.. right out a lie .. now about the gun it self... what a absolute pice of C%$P .. way to loud to the ears compared to the uragan. 30 absolutely bad harmonics why the air stripper is round and the shroud is square ⬛️.. that it self is not bad .. the bad thing is the the roud stripper is not fit tightly it has like a 1/16 gap that allow the barrel to move inside the shroud on every shot. So when you added any moderator then you had a shot gun Cricket.. AF all these years the come with such a lame design.. that is why much of the reviews were made with the .22 short .. but there is one with the .25 , american air guner in where he said that he couldn't use a moderator in his review because it messed his groups. I wish I had read between the lines.. so do you self a favor if you see the model 60 for sale in Airguns of Arizona dot buy it..

Thanks for the heads up, sorry you had this happen to you. You should put this in the industry feedback thread so everyone can see it.

I think the Argus was a flop from the beginning from what I recall. That’s probably why don’t don’t see much of anyone posting about shooting them. How many times have you seen one for sale versus the Crickets?
Was a flop because it self it is a ugly gun .. people seem not to like the idea of a square shroud, ergonomics are great. 1-29 twist barrel that should have been a great pellet shooter, magazine worked great to a vast improvement over the old design.. but at the end final product Suck.

@mercado It’s ugly, but many people also think that of the Benjamin Bulldog. It has a trapezoid shaped shroud. That platform still sells, so I wonder what other issues the Argus had.

I like ugly guns , bulldog is one of my favorites .. planning to do another 308 now that i finally have a good machinists.. no other problems with the gun aside from not being the peoples favorite .. the barrel problem could be fixed and I imagine that someone had come with a solution for the mechanical noise , if the sales had been better..

Mine works just...fine !
It isn't a flop because of ANYTHING but the square shroud. NOT because of the way that it works...or doesn't. Again, Zero problems in the couple of year ownership of my Argus (45, .22).

Pretty unfair to bash things that you don't seem to know much about.

@MikeVV Bash? Thinking or wondering if people are actually that fickle is bashing now? Still drinking spiked eggnog Mike? Seriously, we know that you enjoy trolling and seeming disgruntled. Pretty strange to act so easily offended by an opinion and conversation that was not directed towards you. It’s also strange to have a gun flop over a single aspect of its aesthetic. Especially since members of this community are known for their innovation in improving lackluster performance and ugly airguns. The gun’s shroud looks similar to the shape of the dude’s head in your avatar. As I stated, one of my favorite guns looks similar. This is a fact, BUT there is a shop that can mod the ugly away from the Bulldog. Strange that I haven’t seen anyone that swaps out the stock shroud on the Argus as long as it’s been out. 🤔

This isn’t the first time you’ve jumped into a conversation about your love affair with this floppy airgun. Now the OP’s gun was ugly and functioned like crap. He sent it back and was charged a restocking fee. Sounds like someone figured out how to make money off a gun that’s hard to sell without discounting it deeply. Too bad that happened to him. But I’m bashing the Argus? 😅
