Arkansas Airgunning

I live about 10 miles south of Little Rock and do my range shooting near Benton. Private club (membership required but anyone can join) with 7 ranges for rifle, pistol, and shotgun with the longest to 600 yards currently. Most of my air gun shooting to 65 yards I do in the back yard, but sometimes I shoot them at the Benton range. I've never seen another air gun there but there has been mention of trying to start something air gun related at the Benton range. Not a lot of organized air gun shooting in this area that I'm aware of. There is a small farm somewhere near Brashears (23 at 16 east of Fayetteville) that has had a few events. There has been at least one organized event at Cherokee Village recently. There is the yearly (except for Covid) Malvern Air Gun Show. There is a small group in Siloam Springs but I believe it is high school organized. I would certainly try to attend a meet and greet somewhere and maybe something organized could arise from that.

Thanks for the link to NASA. Located about 40 minutes east of Fayetteville as I recall. Certainly something for Arkansans to consider but it's a good 2 to maybe 3+ hours from "central" Arkansas. A solid 3 hours for me to the NASA area as I drove to Washington Regional in Fayetteville regularly for 5 years recently and it was a 3.5 hour drive. A very very nice 3.5 hour drive, but still quite a ways. Passed through the area where NASA shoot is held many times, if I'm recalling the location description correctly. Might well be much closer for some far eastern Okies😊. Still, it is doable and certainly an option to consider. The Malvern show is usually about this time of year if I'm remembering correctly but I believe Covid nixed it this year. Still planned for next year, if possible, and it is a long running established show so it should happen.

I have thought about joining the Bemton Gun Club, but I would want to participate in some of their matches, however my work schedule prevents that from happening. I can't justify the cost of return, at least with my current work situation.
