Arken ELP4 4-16x44

I own two. One on a pcp, and one on a 17 hmr.
Lots of good features and good image quality for the money. I recently compared my scopes to a more expensive $600 scope. No appreciable difference (to my eyes) in IQ
Field of view seems wider than comparable scopes in that range

Those scopes are ffp. The reticle is pretty thin for some people, meaning its harder to see under 6 power.

I’ve asked if Arken could fabricate the scope in sfp (which would also trim a couple of ounces off the weight) and was told they are not going to do that.

Another down sight is that the focus ring and the power ring are extremely tight, too tight in my opinion.

And other people on this form say that the focus values are not accurate, so for FT matches, the ELP may not be a good choice.

But for informal target work or pesting, these ELP scopes are hard to beat

That was my thought. Shooting will be informal under 100 yrds so I'll likely be setting a zero and holding for distance and any wind... I pulled the trigger on one late yesterday. Thanks for the input guys!!

I have a 4-16x that I really like. Not many other scopes can compete with Arken at their price point. Athlon is another brand you should look at before making a decision.
Agreed, I've owned an Ares ETR. Really nice scope. I bought an Arken SH 4 for my wife for Christmas for her new Avenge X and started looking for something for my gun after I mounted her scope vs using one of my Strike Eagles... She's now teasing me, saying I had scope envy once she found out I bought another Arken.... ;)

Looking for thoughts on this scope for a SP M60B .25. Plan on shooting in the yard with some pest control. I've got a couple Vortex Strike Eagles but didn't think I'd need the magnification on the SE. I see it on sale for just over 300. Thinking of pulling the trigger.

Thanks in advance for the input.
I got 2, love them. You’re not going to regret it at $300.

Unfortunately, I like these scopes. I say unfortunately because of difficulties in ordering from US. My last order was shipped 2/13/25 and held in the Seattle customs warehouse until 2/25 when it was listed as being returned to vendor. Arken has basically blown me off and not explained why I am getting other orders through the same customs port in the same time frame or why the Tariff issue should be a problem when there is a $800 exemption. Arken blames the tariff, but other vendors seem to have no problems at all.

I cannot recommend that anyone in the US do business with Arken at this time.

I'm in the same boat with mine. They were coming from their Canadian warehouse. They are supposed to get addional stock in the US and then reship.. I've been waiting since the first of Feb... only reason I'm not totally BS is my Snowpeak M60b was supposed to be here in Dec.... Those are supposed to leave China by boat next week... Hopefully both will be here by mid April... should be OK to shoot by then.
