Arken Optics - new line

I received a EP5 5x25x56 with 34 mm tube today. It only took about 4 days to get it. I haven't had time to mount it yet. It is heavy but seems to be built very well. I did take a quick look through the scope and the glass seemed good. I know you are talking about the lighter version but wanted to tell you about the quality Arken puts out. I will mount next week to test. Good luck all .

I bought Arken’s new 6x24 - as this new line has 30mm tube, focuses down to 10 yards and weighs a more reasonable amount (around 25 ounces) for an airgun.

When I get it I will compare it to Athlon 6x24 Midas Tac and 6x24 Argos Gen 1 and Gen 2.

For airgun distances and use, I feel the Argos Gen 2 is hard to beat value-wise, we’ll see how the new Arken compares.

Question about the Arken EPL4 4-16x44

The Arken text says: "toolless, easy to operate capped windage turret that lets you set and forget."

HOW easy is it to rezero my elevation (not windage)?
Will I painfully need to take out 3 or more screws with a wrench like the Hawke Frontiers seem to require? Or is it painless?

Really interested in this scope! 😊

If it is "tooless," I would venture to say it is the lift up style caps and turn to zero. Then snap back down to engage the tines.

But the photo of the elevation turret shows at least two silver spots (hex bolts?)....

And this scope has turret revolution counters — I'm not sure they work with pop-up-to-adjust turrets.... 🤔

ITAR and EAR Government requirements. ...
A money grab, the sellers need to buy the ITAR licenses.
I am buying scopes for years and learned that rebranding China scopes still ITAR regulated once on US soil.
I am in Canada and still cannot get a scope directly but have to cash out an extra $250-300 for a middle man?
Arken on sale in US for $300 USD the same scope in CA $800 CAD ($600 USD) = a double.
Just to let you know why I am buying scopes and optics from EU, and many my local businesses hate me for saying it.

Oh, I get that's it's about the dollars, night vision goggles/scope I can see controlling the export, but rifle scopes? That's all money grabbing.

This Arken glass clarity ... is it a wooow? or it is just good enough for the money?
Good question. Ordered mine sight un-seen, but based on some YT reviews on some of Arken's other scopes. I'll let you know once mine ships. It will be compared to a couple Leupolds ($500) and a Nightforce SHV ($1000)
