Hey all, I just picked up an Armada .25 and I am looking at a depinger for the tube. The one I can find is listed for a Marauder. It's my understanding the Armada is just a Marauder in battle dress but I'm not sure if that's totally true for the whole rifle. Does anyone know for sure if they run the same tube?

They are the same gun as parts go. It is the same tube and from the factory it had a rubber depinger.
The factory rubber depinger is useful but I prefer a bottle brush. I use a 1.25 nylon bristle brush with the twisted wire core cut off and bent to a J for retrieval.
Some of the other after market depingers move around in the tube nd usually wind up sitting atop the exhaust valve and possibly restricting it and limiting their usefulness as a depinger. The factory depinger works like touching a bell, it stops the ring. The bottle brush breaks up the shock wave that can initiate the ping. Neither or even both use much reservoir sapce.

Thank you. I did the bottle brush in my gladius back in the day. I don't recall the effectiveness of it though. I didn't know about the factory depinger in the tube and you raise a good point about eating up that tube volume. Unless I get a longer tube that's a bit of a sacrifice I don't think I really need to make. I guess I'll live with a little ping. It'll just be the bell that rings when the vermin gets their wings. Much appreciated for the information.
