AirMaks Arms Armaks katran

I’ve had issues with the regulator on the katran for a long time. The v2 back plug is what you need to run the huma. Getting it work was a bit of a pain as the air would leak out the barrel. I Was able to get this to work though.
Shout out to Utah Airguns for getting me the V2.
Happy with the huma.
When did you get the Katran? My buddy has one and has never had an issue with the reg.. His is the Katran bottle long and the regs are all the same unless they changed something along the way.

Back in 2021 it was when they first came out. There was a bottle version and tube version only. I received the bottle version. Some time recently they changed their reg and back plug style. On the original style the reg had a brass piece the the valve spring attached to. This brass piece screwed into the back of the regulator. The first versions also had issues with the regulator. The V2 back plug is similar to the tube version and now the regs is interchangeable from what I’ve pieced to gether. I’ll post a pic of my v1 tonight

I didn't pay attention when I tuned it for him enough to remember what I saw. I know his was getting like a 7ES over 5 mags if I remember correctly. He got his in late 21. I'll be over there this weekend and take a look. He also has probably less than 2000 pellets through it.

Here is what I mean. Also the v1 has no bleeder valve. You had to use a de gassing tool. I bent my hammer spring guide rod doing the original way.

Show both ends if you can. And is that a super small brass screw in the middle of the large brass "screw" If there is a small allen head screw on the opposite end that would probably be the adjustment screw I believe, but I can't find a pic of this "V1" generation reg on the net so far.

Mine still requires manual degassing. There is then a new one which they call a V2 that has a degassing screw and some other changes.

Some vendors refer to it as a V2+, but I just call mine a V2-

So you can use the huma reg in the cb v2 back plug? I have the the v2 back plug already and have been getting reg issues recently. On the huma website it says it for the tube version only.

I had to do a ton of digging around and looking a lots of vids but yes I have the v2 back plug with the huma reg. On the installation manual on humas site it shows the bottle portion. You have to have the v2 and it’s a drop in for huma.
