Artemis P15, Artemis P15 = Double vision???

I think my first one must have cloned itself?.

I liked my .177 so much I was forced to get a .22. It's flinging the JSB 15.89 Jumbo pellet at 930fps and the heavy 18.13 at 900fps. Velocity readings were about a 5fps spread. This one might get a dot sight for quick shooting. This one is just as nice as the first one. Trigger is heavy, but if it cleans up like the first one, it should take 5 minutes.

You can wait on the realease of the Diana Skyhawk. Then there are some nice Stocks available!

Im waiting several months now because the SPA Version is no longer available in my location.

Got the baffle upgrade with UNF Adapter from air-fective already here besides me.

Diana says that they did improved the trigger.

The P15's are nice little rifles, after they are leaded in they shoot like a laser, my 22 cal stack pellets on pellets @25/30 mts at easy, funy enough, it doesnt shoot well with the JSB's 15.89, does well with 18's and the Discovery's 14.3 specially for my surprise. I changed the internal baffles (they're no good at all) and machined an adaptor for a 1/2" UNF to fit a secondary silencer as well(which didn't need it thou), it's whisper quiet.

Seriously, I have had less than stellar luck with that caliber throughout the years, I just can't seem to become a fan. However, I do have a 32-20 liner about the same diameter, I wonder what velocities would be possible? I might consider a caliber change on my .177 Evanix 3D, because I like the Artemis too much to mess with it.

Personally not so much into bullpups but they do have some place.

While I didnt enjoy shouldering a P15 it did shoot well but...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... ( and things may have changed?) the internal machining was just flawless period. And I really mean, flawless. Just such good work as to surprise. Apparently they have outstanding QC which is worth something to me.

I may personally be about ready to try one of these newer Chinese rifles - full length-.

Not that I would do it, but those mods could make a delightful lightweight hammer out of your P15, I would love to see how it goes. As for shots per fill, I never got an accurate number when I had it at the range, I was running at least six magazines between fills, but never ran it down. It's definitely higher than 66 shots.

Bullpups are not for everybody and even I appreciate a conventional action. When I work up the courage, I want to do some reshaping of the stock in the pistol grip area, stipple the grip and forearm and maybe try my luck with a bit darker stain. I'm not sure exactly, but I believe the M16/M16A are the closest equivalent.

As for the garage, it's as bad as it sounds, I usually recommend visitors have a tetanus shot. It consists of:

- Takisawa 14X30 lathe

- Schaublin 102 watchmakers lathe

- Bridgeport 9X42 milling machine

- South Bend 7" shaper

- Enco 12" surface grinder

- Miller Diversion 165 TIG welder

- Oxy-Acet set

- 3 Vidmar type cabinets (plus two to support the bench) of various tools, gear and crap

Crosfire (Craig) can attest to what a mess it is (poor guy is still going to therapy) I exist in a state of chaos theory defined.

I’m lookin real hard at the Skyhawk by Diana. I wonder if it is $200 better than the p15. That laminated stock sho is purdy.

That’s what I was wondering too, I’m about to order a P15 .177cal but I’ll be ordering a HUMA along with it and an aftermarket side lever upgrade that’s turns the factory side lever into a biathlon style side lever. Also saw some aftermarket mags that supposedly work great and hold more pellets. The Laminate and the walnut on the Skyhawk look really nice...... well the ones advertised did anyway but if those new stocks really look that good ,then I think that’s a good deal, not to mention a name like Diana backing it up.

My apologies to everyone for not being very good at keeping this thread alive. The past few months have had me focused on my daughter after a liver transplant. I haven't been to a range in months.
