I bought this pistol and got it out to play for first time today. The probe seems to be I different size quick connect than the one for my Taipan vet. What do I need to make it work so I can fill the Artemis ?

I would say measure both and compare. I've had a couple of fill probes that were just off in size enough to prevent fitting into the female foster connection. It was usually the raised band area width (across the probe, not longitudinally) if I recall correctly. I did have to put a couple in the drill press and lightly file that area down and then they worked fine. Just be sure to finish it very smooth if this is needed so o-rings aren't damaged.

It does look identical to the eye side by side to the Taipan one where it fits into quick connect.

That worked thanks, just took battery operated drill and sand paper . When I try to fill air is coming out end of barrel and wont hold pressure.
Any suggestions ? am I missing something?

Cock it to start filling. Sounds like hammer spring pressure is holding valve cracked open.

Glad to help. Get the DonnyFL adapter discussed elsewhere and a small diameter moderator. I use the airgununiverse small one and it makes it pretty quiet.

Buy the stainless steel fill adapter from HUMA it's much better than the factory brass one that's likely gonna leak.

It is a very good idea to use silicon grease to lube your o rings on the fill probe and the on the breech o ring. not much. Just a light smear will do. The o rings will last much longer
