N/A Artemis PP700s-a

My .177 was producing about 12fpe in stock form. I wanted to take it down to something closer to 8fpe for a more useful shot count and acceptable muzzle report but the regulator did not like it so I re-stacked the Bellevilles from a 2P5S )) (( )) (( )) to a 9S ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( )

I ended up taking it down to about 560fps with 9.3gr RWS Supermags (6.5fpe) where it gets about 80 shots per fill. It made for a fun plinking gun with remarkable accuracy lobbing those heavy wadcutters

With the .22 cal, a similar state of tune would equate to something closer to 9.5fpe for 55 shots, just ballparking it.

If you're interested, here is a lengthy writeup I did about dealing with the regulator idiosyncracies

The guns are totally different. Nothing is the same.
I own both.

The PP700S-A is the better pistol.
I got both and your not the 1st to tell me the 700 is a better pistol, But I don't see it, My 750 has the 2 inch longer barrel, Still fits in the shroud, Maybe thats why I call them even, Never even shot the shorter barrel,,,

Wish they still had those 10.5” barrels available still but I can’t seem to find them in stock anywhere. I love my new Artemis PP750 with sidelever kit but would also like to try out the sister gun aka PP700S-A, I don’t mind a single shot airgun as long as the rest of it is working properly and in good order.
It is a great pistol, better than the 750 as a pistol for sure.

More then enough power.

I turned my HS down and get about 30 shots . I'm sure it could be tuned better but it shoots well .

Wanted to add that I'm pretty sure it was 2 full turns out on the HS .
