I hold my pellet pistols...just like I hold my fire arms.
One hand wrapped around the other. Nothing fancy, nothing in the latest cool !! Just no need for a death-grip, strangle-hold, like shooting a .44 magnum. They aren't going anywhere when the trigger is pulled. So I just hold them tight enough to hold on target.
Works well for me. Plus, there's no arm fatigue after a long shooting session with a light, even hold.
As for my long guns, also as light a hold as possible. They bend easier. I learned that by accident. While shooting one day, my point of impact was all over the place. And this was with a very stiff, short gun. So I lightened my hold / grip, and wouldn't ya know, I was putting the pellets in the little black dots again.
Again, nothing fancy, or no...new "latest tricks", just hold tight enough to not let the gun...drop to the floor !
In my 73 years of doing different things, it seems that the "latest tricks" (pick a subject) work well for the inventor, and not too many others...when they REALLY admit to it !
