As of April 1st we're now selling Jeeps with 400 to 800HP. Take a look!

Changing our business to autos. Which would you drive? The Blue 1949 w/800HP or White 1950 w/400HP?

CJ. Top speed 45mph.
LOL, Yeah, I know what you mean. While my flathead 4 sounded like it was gonna grenade at 3,000 RPM, the 60HP was rated at 4,000RPM. After over 40 years, I found out that the HP was WAR TIME rating, which was only good for 100 hours. That finally made sense, as I doubt it could have kept doing that kind of rev's regularly. I eventually put a Buick odd-fire 3.8L V6, which really made it move! I eventually replaced the V6 with a Hot little Chevy Corvette V8. I could beat Mustangs off the line with those 5.38 gears. :)

Question: CJ3B or CJ5 as both were made in 1956.

It was fun to watch you guys slurp this up on April 1. B.
Meh, not very funny considering issues some customers had been having at the same time he posted this.

I personally ordered a liner from their website which was labeled in stock. After 4 days of hearing nothing aside from a confirmation email, I called and found out that they did not in fact have it in stock. I got a refund immediately, but this was my first attempted purchase from Top Gun, and now I’m confident it will be my last.

If you read through the Industry Feedback section, there is a negative review of TopGun from March 30th. I messaged cavedweller, who posted the review, and found out I wasn’t the only person who had the same issue.

Glad they have time to make April Fools jokes though!

It was a CJ5. I do remember the book that came with it gave directions on how to plow farm fields with it. It would go pretty much anywhere I took it. I lived in the UP of Michigan and I sold it to a guy moving to Alaska for $2200 in approximately 1981. Perfect body with no rust.
Yes. They were pushing the idea of the Jeep to take the roll of a small tractor. IIRC, it was called the Agri-Jeep. LOTS of thing to go with it. A Plow, PTO powered Saw, Generator, Welder, etc.. Everything one might need on a farm.
