AS OTHERS HAVE SAID ABOUT SELLING THEIR PB'S

I have written many times about my best fun.
Strolling through the woods with my HW35 and a pocket full of pellets.
Just roving.
The problem though, at 78, there is always some POS that thinks they should bother an old man.
So, I always carry two other things when in the woods with the air rifle:
My hunting license and my loaded Colt Trooper (I carried it in Vietnam, too.) in .357.

Reluctantly, I just sold my Vudoo and now trying to figure out what to do with my two Anschutzs and CZ. They are fun to shoot once or twice a year.

I've been noticing that I'm not the only one who's sold their PB's, BTY I never knew what PB meant till this site. I also sold most of my PB because I never shoot them because I have no place to shoot them unless I drive up into the mountains. It's just as much fun shooting my pellet guns, .177 to .50 cal here at home.

Case closed.

I have gifted or sold some PB's to some younger family members that are just starting out . I've thinned out pb collections several times over the years and rebuilt them ! I find that w/ health issues , hunter access ,etc , it was time to let others have the same fun I've had w/ them. Yes , I'll keep some special ones too. Like many have stated , I do more airgunning the burning powder anymore . And my reload cabinet will keep me going for a long , long time !

I have kept all of my PB's and do not plan on selling them. I have kept my ammo supplies up and shoot them once a month. I went to the range on Saturday and was shooting plates at 50 yards with my PB pistols. That sound the plates make is still addictive.

I live too close to ground zero Dearborn MI to relax or sell my powder burners.

You don't have to give it up my fellow addict - Rattler .357 ringing steel in my back yard satisfies me all day!

Went to a gunshow here in Ohio yesterday to sell a couple of PBs I still had left. First time since Covid and was surprised how much the prices went up. Some things never change though because the guys with the tables are still offering rock bottom to buy but selling used for more than you can buy new in a shop. By the way the place was packed with people elbow to elbow. I have been replacing my PBs with airguns for about 8 years now. Just keeping some for home defense and CCW.

Personally, I sort of feel more secure with my .25 .30 & .45 semi & full autos for home defense but my understanding is not to discuss about home defense on this site using our little toy pellet guns. I could be wrong.

I can legally shoot firearms on my own land but choose to not do so. But I’m keeping the one PB I own, for one reason: self defense. The region I live in has a high incidence of violent crime, and darned near every household has guns. Add to that the longstanding problem of vicious dogs at large, often running in packs. Much as I prefer shooting airguns, the “hand cannon” is a better horse for those courses.

I’m down to practicing with the PB once a month (it was twice a month). The airguns...several times each week, right at home. At the rate I’m now practicing, the PB totals 600 or so cartridges per year. Airgun pellets...more than 10,000 per year. And much more fun.

If we lived in a more civilized area, I might sell the PB.

There's no replacement for PBs and I still own all of mine even though I shoot PCPs way more.
