JG66, I agree that air gunning is a great hobby that will last me decades if my lease on these old bones lasts that long. I have to say, though, that for this lady air gunning has been much more than a hobby. Bucking not only her family's opinion but that of her whole community... at the age of 65?! And doing it not only to learn something new outside of the home, but a skill set that actually can be used to physically defend herself in a culture where honor killing is still accepted in much of the poor and rural areas of her country? She is a woman driven to excel and determined to crash open doors which have for millennia been closed to girls and women in her part of the world. Her story is much more than a feel-good tale of an old lady who surprised us all with her youthful spirit; this is the kind of quiet crusade on the part of one unassuming person that seems to be changing the very fabric of her local culture. And who knows where that kind of thing can lead...
