Hatsan At44 nicked seals

Well after reading some posts I determined that my gun was built in October 2021 then shipped to the US where it sat for 3years, and I also found I should check the two seals on the barrel that sit on each side of the air port and sure enough they were in horrible condition. There's no way this gun would have worked properly had I not found this. The problem seems to be that where the barrel goes into the receiver is sharp and has sliced the edges of the seals. So now I have to try and see if that is the only seals with issues or have the others developed dryrot. Anybody familiar with how many seals there are for the at44 long.177 I'm familiar with the breech seal and looking at it without taking the cap off the barrel to inspect just looking in the barrel at it and it seems intact.

Had that problem when I had an AT44 (1st PCP that I actually liked & enjoyed shooting). Barrels are so easy to remove! I used emery cloth to dull those sharp edges & never had that problem again. The Hatsan exploded diagrams helped a lot when 1st learning to work on airguns.

Thank you. That's a step in a forward direction. I've been looking online for a complete seal replacement kit and it seems like all the options are from outside the US. Hatsan usa only has a package with 2 seals. Do you know any other seller of seal kits

Nope. No Hatsan kits from captain o-ring. But I appreciate your response and support.

Hatsan USA should sell you the orings, might want to check with them.

I did and the only package that I come up with is a 2 seal package. 1 large and 1 small and are for the air cylinder. Not sure why I am having such difficulty in locating an o-ring kit for a relatively popular airgun.

Until our local ace hardware burned down last year I purchased most o-rings there and always worked just fine. Lucky we have a ma and pa auto parts store for some but they don't have ALL sizes. Esp. for those o-rings do try one or the other, habor freight sell $10.00ish box's with a good selection of sizes but I've not tried them personally. There is certainly nothing special with that o-ring just buy some.
Should easy to find locally, if needed carry the barrel in find a couple of dia. that fit .
Emery cloth on those burrs.

Get the o-ring sizes from the Hatsan diagrams then order from Mcmaster-Carr, The O-ring Store, O-rings and More, etc. Places like that. You can get packages of 10 (or whatever you want) of the o-rings you need for a rebuild & still probably pay less than what SOME places charge for a kit! Much more worthwhile to order like that & have multiples of the needed seals instead of the exact amount a kit supplies in case any get damaged.

Ok so the only thing that I can come up with when I pull up the diagram is a breakdown of the at44 with reference numbers but I can't find the legend that describes those numbers. Am I missing something?

I guess not. I just went to the Hatsan airguns usa site & checked the AT44 diagrams & I see they no longer show sizes. That's weak of them & sucks. All I can suggest is get out your caliper & measure the o-rings needed & order accordingly from a bulk distributor mentioned here. I ASSUME you have calipers. EVERY airgunner should. It's a vital piece of equipment.

I've got the burr smooth on the receiver and on the cylinder fill port as well. Can't find a schematic that actually gives the sizes that are needed throughout the gun.

If you post a parts diagram noting which orings you need, I will help you out with sizing. I have a hatsan gladius. The gladius is the same action as the AT44.
