Would like to get custom 1911 wood grips for the AP 16. Curley maple, black walnut, red oak, etc, Switch them out periodically. Any suggestions who makes them ? I appreciated Steve Concorans talent.

Last I measured the 1911 grips wouldnt fit.
I even tried to mount a Beeman P1 HW45 carbine stock and didn't work.

Steve Corcoroan is still doing wood work and is a member here you nufht have to send your factory grips if he hasn't done one already

I ordered a pair from AliExpress just to see if they fit. They haven't arrived yet, but I figured spending $10 on a set would be better than spending $80, especially if they end up not fitting right!

If the screw centers are 3-1/16" apart, the grip should fit the AP16.
I just bought a pair of 1911 Hogue grips for my AP16, fit fine.
Still looking for a "target grip, not afraid to buy 1911 grip panels.

The 1911 grip panels fit perfectly. But the standard 1911 screws won't fit though, no surprise, the AP16 takes metric screws!
