Needs a bit of tune, very little first stage and really light, just needs a couple mm on the first stage and it will be perfect

If you aren't sure of the details, there are a few "trigger adjustment" videos in YouTube.
I've got one of mine to a nice first stage, and a very sharp second stage break. I haven't been able to get my second AP16 to quite as nice a feel, close, but...

I bought a second AP16, just after the "war" started over there. I wanted to make sure I had spare parts on hand, if...
Don't know if they are still being made or not, but I didn't want a great little gun sitting if a small part failed in my first gun, so...a second was ordered. Actually the first (above) was a refurbished version (works well, and no surface blemishes). The second (below) is a full priced gun.

There’s not really much to go wrong with them, even if you break the valve or reg a decent machinist would be able to knock up replacements parts pretty easily

I love my APs!
A.J. has provided us photographic evidence they made AP16s in .177. Between that, the grips on his new/used AP, and overwhelming curiosity, I employed my superhuman investigative skills (aka- 'snooping') to investigate where One might find not only an AP in .177, but one with such NICE WALNUT grips.
Apparently nice, full beards are fashionable "across the pond" (from me).

Found this company who make red dot adaptor plates the fit the AP16

Also did a quick chrono check with JSB Heavy‘s, I know its no where near the levels you guys run, but are we limited to 6fpe over here for air pistols, but on the bright side it will give the pistol a decent shot count and it’s still plenty of power for 20m plinking and can bashing. Plus the reg looks a good one

As far as I know all Ataman’s are single stage triggers have had 4 Ataman rifles and two AP16 pistols and all the triggers were very light, under a poundNeeds a bit of tune, very little first stage and really light, just needs a couple mm on the first stage and it will be perfect

No...not so much !!
I have two AP16 (compact if that matters), and BOTH...are of the..."two" stage trigger pull verity.

I’ve had a play with the trigger and it can be set up 2 stage, but is much much better as a single stage

I guess the airgun depot is wrong as well? I have owned 6 Ataman’s over the years and they are no shape or form a 2-stage trigger.. just one steady(mushy) pull before it goes off, you can adjust the creep in or out that’s it ,show me a video of your trigger then where you can see your 2 stages..
