Ataman AP16 grips

I’m trying to find a source for the grips for the Ataman AP that have the finger grooves and no wood grip coverage at the backstrap area. I don’t like the flat original .45 grips or the bulky full coverage grips available from Pyramyd Air. Any input would be much appreciated.

On Facebook there is someone named Steven Brown in Great Britain that as a hobby make grips. He had made one for my Leshiy and I know other people who he has made them for. The only othe info I can give you to help find him is I know he is a mail carrier for the Royal Mail.

You need the old style grip. The new AP16s don’t seem to have them. Put a want to buy ad with a pic and someone will have one eventually. I’m sure many people changed them out and had the take-offs.

I found a dovetail to picatinny rail here and it fit really good on the Ataman

I ordered and received the Black grip from Midway USA. I like these grips fit and feel. I decided to order the grips in the other available colors being Dessert Tan, Olive Green, and even Pink. I’m an accesorry fanatic and only thing I want now is the adjustable rear sight if it doesn’t require any machining to fit. If any one can provide information on the adjustable rear sight it would be much appreciated.
