Nice clear ED glass, wide FOV and Athlons lifetime warranty...retail is over 300. I have a pair, compact and clear optics.

@ranchibi, I'm really tempted by these went to site. Check out where under the Model: Chronus 10x42. So am confused as the description is off. I do love my Ares 8x42 Binos.

Luis! If you have the Ares 8x42 then you don't need the 8x36 as yours has a wider FOV! The only difference is size and a little weight, not worth it unless buying for a loved one. I only see a Cronus 10x42 for 300...not under Ares description.
