How is the athlon neos for sub 200 glass? How do you think it stacks up against UTG ? Thanks.

The cheapest Athlon I've used was a Talos, but it was quite good. Their warranty is awesome as well, which I had to use on another model. I would say buy with confidence.

I just bought two of them and they are very good. The turrets are excellent, the IR is visible in less than low light and the glass is shows very good detail at fifty yards. I put them on .177 guns and have only shot them at fifty. The glass is better than the Hawke Vantage I have and as good as the Aztec Emeralds. The Argos BTR is way better than the Aztec. The Talos is also good scope if you want light scope to mount low. I have a dozen Athlons from the Neos to the Ares ETR.

Same .. i use a talos. Seemed at the time the talos had the mil dot and the neos did not or somthing. Also it was sale priced like 5$ of a neos so i went with the talos .. i like it and used it on a springer or 2.

Yup. I got my Talos on a deep discount and I'm very happy with it. I usually stick to the Argos BTR, but the difference in glass is negligible for airgun ranges.

If i had to give it one gripe its the weight.
Its my heaviest scope and on a high mount on a lite gun it can feel top heavy.. what does athlon spec that at ? Like 24 oz... But then it dont have that cheap feel to it. Got a solid built feel to it .. if i could change somthing about it id guess make it a 30mm tube over 1"..

Oh yeah, definitely heavy. I have mine on a bottle gun that has a thick, wooden benchrest stock, so it balances well still.
