Athlon Talos on Springer

I am thinking of using an Athlon Talos 4-16x40 on an HW50s. Has anyone used one of these on an under 12 FPE springer safely?

I put one on my sig asp20 when I had it, and experienced no ill effect.

Athlons got a hassle free Lifetime Warranty.

Guess I'll put it on and see how it goes, if it worked on a Sig the HW50s should be fine.

Just hoping for a long "lifetime" before I need the warranty.

Just FYI...

The lifetime of the scope was 26 shots. ZR Mount on the way.
