Atlas CAL Bipod Gen-2!

Atlas has re-released the CAL bipod! The Gen 2 has significant changes over the Gen 1. Basically, the only thing that's remains the same are the legs. Currently, I have both and I can tell you that the Gen 2 is much better!

Public service announcement: If you have a Gen 1 CAL bipod, Atlas wants you to send it in for a free upgrade to the Gen 2. You only have to pay to ship it to them. They'll go over the whole thing, upgrade it, and send it back to you. Also, the Gen 1's have been discontinued and will no longer be offered.

Here's another tip - If you can find a gen 1 on a closeout sale somewhere for cheap, buy it and send it in for an upgrade. In a "round about" way, you might be able to save yourself some $ off the price of a new CAL Gen 2.

Great video as usual. I think we talked about it before... I ordered the CAL bipod right before they recalled them last year but didn't know why and nobody at B&T would tell me. Now I do. Thanks! I'm anxious to get my hands on the new one and try it out. I love my 5-H but it's just too heavy for anything except for at the bench. Thanks for the video. Stoti

Just checked a bunch of sites...out of stock. Do you know anybody that has them or when they're going to be released? Thanks.
