Atn night vision scope

I cannot answer your question but I am curious also I like the lighter reticle and how easy it is to sight in my moving the reticle to the point of impact awesome feature hopefully someone comes in
Any scope can be sighted in that way. Make the gun stationary, shoot once and without moving the gun adjust the cross hairs from the point of aim to the point of impact and your done.

I don’t know how they compare but I had the X-Sight and still have the monocular. Both worked outstanding. The only negative on both and also goes for all low priced night vision, is that you have to focus like binoculars to get a clear view. And seems like they have a short depth of field. I’ve used tax payer funded military NVG’s and no focussing needed. But they also cost about $10K. Most all of our air rifle scopes require focussing to but at night it seems harder, especially when scanning. Also, if you are trying to look at something 50 yards away and there’s a leaf or branch 10 or 15 yards in front of you, it will light up like a neon sign because of yhe IR light source.
On a moon lit night with no clouds it works awesome with no IR light on.

I have not used the LTV scopes. But what I recommend for anyone considering the cheaper units is to get its bigger brother, the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro 3-14x refurbished for less than the price of the LTV with lower magnification brand new! The Refurbished X-Sight 4K Pro has a 3 year warranty while the new LTV only has a 2 year warranty!

Here is what you lose when you get the LTV over the X-Sight 4K Pro:
  • The LTV has 720p video recording vs 1080p 30fps, 60fps, 120fps for the X-Sight 4K Pro
  • No Photo recording.
  • Does not work with the X-Trac Bluetooth Remote Control.
  • Does not work with the ABL Bluetooth Laser Rangefinder.
  • Does not work with the ATN BinoX Day/Night Rangefinding Binoculars.
  • No Ballistic Calculator (I live and die by this feature!).
  • No Mil-Dot FFP type scope. If you are an airgunner, you really need this or the Ballistic Calculator feature.
  • No video streaming to other devices like a tablet or phone.
  • Worse battery life (LTV has 10hrs vs 18hrs for the X-Sight 4K Pro).
What you gain:
  • The LTV weighs less at 1.6 pounds vs. 2.1 pounds.
