Atomic XR at 102 yards…🙀😜…

This afternoon decided to just lob some out to my 102 yard station with the .22 Atomic XR. I understand that this isn’t a 100 yard gun, just playing around. Anyway 10 MILs of holdover got me three hits on the can. Sending Crosman Premiers at 725 FPS. The pellet perforated both sides of the can. Very impressed at the penetration at distance. I have two safes full of guns… Guess which one comes out to play almost everyday.

There’s about 30” inches of drop, it feels more like being an artillery man, lobbing them out there. That the pellet penetrated both sides of the can was impressive. According to StrelokPro the Crosman Premier is at 4 FPE at that range.

I knew the holdover from previous artillery sessions… Have to pull the Bantam Sniper HR out of the safe, it hasn’t been out much since the Atomic XR arrived and won me over.

I am very jealous of you backyard range. I live on a 60x120 lot and that dosn't leave much room for long distance shooting!

it's about a 30 min drive to my gun club for me.
