Atomic XR… Four nighttime groups at 25 yards

Shot these four groups at 25 yards. Groups 1, 3 and 4, were five consecutive shots on three different nights. Group 2, was one shot per night for five nights in a row. Sending CPHPs, TP on medium, scope at 12x, bipod front, shoulder and hand as rear bag. All shots from the magazine. I use my Atomic XR almost daily. Can’t stay away from her…

@L.Leon I’ve seen you loving your Atomic and rightfully so. It’s a great pistol.

I’ve been shooting mine off bucket and sticks as a pistol. Just shot these 3 5-shot groups this evening in my backyard at 37 yards.

I’m shooting 18gr JSBs at 700 fps. I really enjoy it.
Oh, just in case you wondered how the Atomic performed over the Chrony:

All the target shooting is in my yard. The only rats in my yard are these Halloween rats from the Dollar Store. Just rat heads peeking at 54 yards, the Atomic XR takes them consistently. Yes, I miss but not often, they make great practice targets. I’m still trying to get a proper setup on the rats in the hoop house at the former dairy. I have taken at least a dozen. But its a very crowded environment. Just have to take the time.

Great groups Luis! I too look forward to sending lead down range with my RAW, just a few is all I need...I miss it when I am unable to do it! These PCP's (certain ones) are addicting (relaxing too) in that sense! LOL! Keep up the wonderful shooting and pestiing.
