No worries @dairyboy, I understand. I'll be putting the Atomic XR to the test this Spring through Fall. I still intend to use my sweet Bantam Sniper for shots from 60-80 yards.

@l.leon maybe you said this already and I just missed it. Do you see much difference in the action of your Bantom vs the Atomic other than the lever factor?

@blackpaw, the lever on the Atomic is wickedly smooth and light. Already the bolt on the Bantam Sniper HR feels clunky by comparison, but the accuracy of the Sniper reminds me why it's still good where it counts. At the target... The aluminum chassis makes the Atomic a more robust PCP than my Bantam HR. Otherwise I believe it's the same action, just updated for the XR series.
