Weather permitting, our next TEXtreme Airgun Sports match is this-coming Saturday, August 3 at Ranchito Robinson. With the most rain-vulnerable shooting lines and walkways now reinforced with gravel, notwithstanding flooding we won’t be shooting in mud-holes.
This match is best described as American style field target, open to any air pistol or rifle shooting lead pellets at no more than 20 foot pounds of muzzle energy. The targets and course will be set to prioritize Extreme Pistol field target, averaging low to mid-forties pistol Troyer. With that translating into high twenties rifle Troyer, it will also be an excellent opportunity to post high rifle scores. In other words, spring-piston rifle friendly, less competition-specific rifle friendly, and/or MORE TIGGER-TIME opportunities.
Shooters are welcome to shoot pistol, rifle, or both by purchasing two score-cards. Score-cards are $20 for one, or $35 for two (per shooter). For squadding purposes shooters shooting two cards will be treated as two shooters in their assigned squad. The practice range will open at 10 AM, and the shooters meeting will be at noon.
Any pistol or rifle class with four or more eligible entrants will award a Match Winner hat-pin.
