Automated Targets

Hi Guys, 

Recently I started to create an Automated Knock Down Target (system) primarily for hunting practice so you have to hit the kill zone to knock the target down. At present it works as a single target but the plan is to make them work together so when you essentially kill that target it will drop and another different target will pop up with a varying time delay from straight away to say 20 secs. 

I'm actually quite surprised that there isn't anything like it on the market that I am aware of.

If anyone has any cool ideas for what else could be awesome to have let me know.

Once I have it to a point I am happy with I will share the code and instructions on how to build it and share the cad files for laser cutting etc. 

And if there is anyone that would be interested in helping with this project that would be awesome.

I haven't seen Mamba Targets I have done a google search and a search on YouTube to see if I could see them in action. but turns up nothing could you provide a link?

Thanks John_in_Ma that is awesome indeed but I don't think its doing exactly what I have planned. but I do like it a lot. Thanks for sharing that.

That is Awesome bradtroyer have you a link to them or a picture? would you be willing on turning it sort of electronic enough to detect a hit to send to a phone app? via Bluetooth? as my plan is to create a phone app that can sync to the targets that I have been building either live and/or after the fact and the app will also film the shots to limit the cheating via the likes of a side-cam. 

I think it would be awesome to be able to complete certain challenges or compete with people all over the world for fun on the app but anything like this is a little ways away but this is my eventual aim.

The mamba targets record hits and misses as well as time between shots saved on you phone via BT with a range of 75yd. You should contact the maker on face book. His name is Frank Herman(sp).
